My parents are currently on the Zephyr (#5) and the line across Donner appears to be open for now. There is however a slide east of Reno near Patrick. A BNSF train was struck by the slide, doing some damage to the locomotive and the main track. The Zephyr was able to pass through on the siding. Sounds like this might be a pretty good storm.
