Drew, absolutely great shot. Being into wildlife and having got some good wildlife photos when out shooting trains I have always tried to get wildlife and trains in the same photo. This is outstanding! The bird even has its rods down, what more could you ask for. I believe this bird is a great blue heron, closely related to the egrets. Enjoying your recent photo posts.
