My comment wasn't so much for the exciting operation but rather the fact that as Drew mentioned,
at one time you could drive right up to the quarry from the East side of the Interstate. We used
to run the Firecracker 250 offroad race off of Stoddard Wells Road and the long course got right
up to the railroad. No comments on train speed vs unlimited buggy speed.
