Ed King, retired NS Engineer who often writes for TRAINS magazine, grew up in Bristol. I will email him (via Trains mag) a link to this page. He and "Freericks" should get in contact.

I had an interesting experience years ago with a 1950 Hudson, helping a friend change the clutch. Turned into a "project from hell", one I will never forget!!!
