Railroad Date Nails....

For years I have been collecting, researching, and writing about railroad tie dating nails. I belong to the National Association of collectors of these items which were phased out of most American Railroads in the late 1960's and Canada in the 1980's. They were also used in many, many other countries around the world. I have written several articles on them and their history.

I am trying to find out if there are any serious collectors here? If so, I am looking for a few nails for my personal collections and have many traders. I am also looking for information regarding certain nails used by a few railroads here out West.

I know this is a little off the "normal topics" covered, but from time to time I have seen the questions and discussions deviate much further than this. If you have questions (off list) I can be contacted at. rolland at rollandmeyers dot com.
