Mmmmm, guess you don't work for the UP? My middle brother hired out on the SP 5 years after I did. He went to work Jan. 2, 1970 and in 1973 he went into, and stayed in, management until he retired in 2012. He had decent medical from(payed by) the UP until he qualified for Medicare.
