Having recently been in London for my daughter's Ph.D. ceremony and having ridden that very line several times in the week, I can attest to the grudging respect most Londoners give the Tube, even while whining about its remarkable success as attested by the the daily rush-hour crush with every class of person using it. Your sour bashing of rail transit at every mishap, inevitable as they are in world of imperfect humans has, long since gotten tired. Give it a rest until you have something apposite yo say. (For starters, you could Youtube several good TV series on the Underground, or read transport columnist Christian Wolmar's book on same, or the eponymous website Christian Wolmar.co.uk.).
