Goings on at the Nevada State RR Museum

The restoration of Lake Tahoe Lumber and Fluming Company narrow gauge 2-6-0 Glenbrook is progressing nicely. The target for operation is the Fourth of July weekend. The
Friends of the NSRM is currently raising funds to host a railfair of sorts. Among possible participants are the narrow gauge 4-4-0 Eureka, the standard gauge 4-4-0 Leviathon as well as the museum's locomotives: 4-4-0 Inyo, and V&T 4-6-0 25. It should be a great event and having three 1875 locomotives in operation at the same venue will be historic. The following photos were taken this week and show the Glenbrook in the NSRM shop.
