Lincoln Mercury engines at the Ford plant in Maywood, 1958. This was one year before the Pico Rivera plant opened. Found this photo and more on the excellent Los Angeles Skyscraper Forum page. The DT&I had long since been sold by Henry Ford to the Pennsy, but apparently they were still a preferred customer of Ford.
