Amtrak FP7 #117 at Orwood

Time was running out for the ex-SP FP7's that had gone to Amtrak. February 1976 finds #117 (ex-SP #6454) at Orwood, CA heading to Oakland with the San Joaquin. By the end of the year, all but two would be removed from service. This unit, it's number changed to #493 would hang until 1979 mainly for steam generator use.
