UP 4014 Great Experience-And thanks to the Sheriff's

Watching 4014 go from Covina to City of Industry was truly amazing.

And, thousands of trains fans and the public were able to take thousands of pictures in front of dozens of Metrolink Sheriff's deputies and RR cops and nobody even got hassled......because most people heeded the website and listened to the instructions, and stayed clear of the ROW, and otherwise behaved with reasonable responsibility.....

I guess that if we all behave safely, we can have an opportunity to share these wonderful events.

My compliments to the Sheriffs. An officer did stop when we were waiting to photograph the train at the curve in Baldwin Park. And? He observed that we seemed to understand the need to be careful, by staying off of the right of way a safe distance away from the track, then said he had to make sure the crossing was protected and told us to have a good day....?

Go figure....if one behaves responsibly, one doesn't seem to have a problem photographing trains, at all.
