All 10 of Espee's SDP - 45's were scrapped after retirement, per Joe Strapac's Southern Pacific Historic Diesels -- Volume 12. While M - K did buy units # 3201, 3206, & 3207 " ... as potential rebuild candidates...", they "... could not find a buyer or a service for them, so all 3 were sold for scrap in December, 1996."
