New Amtrak ACS 64 Locomotives Begin Revenue Service

Today Vice President Joe Biden held a press conference at Philadelphia's 30th Street Station to formally introduce the new locomotive. He is shown with ATK 600 - the number which once appeared on a legendary E-60.

According to the following news coverage the locomotive series will begin revenue service on Friday operating train 171 from Boston (leaves 815 am) to DC (arrives 415 pm).
