F&W-VCTC Management Issues

I was at a meeting today, where at least some VCTC Board Members present expressed frustration with their current financial situation, and lack of progress on the sales tax measure to support transportation (FYI....in Sou Cal, VC is now the only County without a local funding source to support transportation investments...), which was reflected toward their current management.

How much this reflects a certain level frustration with the current management over that failure, and the failure to effectively compete for existing funds, may be speculative, but the unhappiness and frustration appeared to be expressed by VCTC elected officials across the political spectrum?

After at least one conversation I had today, clearly, this funding problem has been at least one of the issues/excuses that VCTC management has been using with some Board Members to go after/scapegoat the F&W?

It is important for rails who support the F&W, Sou Cal jobs in tourism and local film production, who support the preservation of this corridor as a present jobs resource, and as a future transportation corridor, to contact VCTC Board Members to support the F&W, and raise questions about this bizarre move by VCTC management....as supporters and those who are questioning VCTC's current direction need to hear from you.
