I spent a long time looking at that picture. It captures so much of what was attractive about the narrow gauge 50 years ago -- the train running through grass on nearly unballasted track, contrasted against the broad land and sky. To me, the Chama-Durango line was equal to the Silverton Branch and Cumbres for being photogenic.

Plus the cross-lighting and clouds are perfect. Nice photo, Drew!
