SP&S 700 Northwest Steam Rodeo Special

Here's an interesting item I happened to run across on another Forum. Don't know if any of you saw this or not.

The crew of the SP&S 700 is putting together a 3 day mainline excursion for September this year that includes a day at the Pendleton round up and entertainment provided by Happy Canyon. The trip is still in the planning stages, but the proposed dates are September 10, 11, & 12. Train accommodations will include 4 classes of seats including dome, compartment, lounge and coach seats. All food, transportation and lodging as well as admission to the Pendleton Round-up and additional evening entertainment are included.

More details on the Northwest Steam Rodeo Special can be found on the Pacific Railroad Preservation Association's website www.sps700.org. Early ticket sales begin this week and can be purchased through www.ticketswest.com.
