Bill -- That is one awesome, superb photo! Thank
you for being there and getting that great photo!
She was pulling a Christmas Shopper's Special that
day -- some time in the early 1990s, I don't remember
when. I think she pulled two round trips that day.
(She never pulled the MLK Freedom Day train,
which is too bad.)

And, yes, the SP 2479 does need help. I have no
idea where she will be allowed to run, but I hope
for the best for her and her crew. Those SP Pacifics
are handsome locomotives, Classic .....just classic.
