You are correct. The crossing in the Milwaukie Industrial Park has a radio controlled approach so that the gates are not activated by switching moves. Since it is at the top of the 6% grade, it is necessary to get a run at the hill and the radio circuit keeps the crew from having to stop. Once the train is within the crossing circuit the gates operate normally with an island circuit.
The installation at the other ORHF end is similar but is set up to accommodate the light rail construction underway. Once the interlocking diamonds are in service different tones will be used to select the route and take control of the "plant".
