Just a little note on the skull. Some recent finds had wounds consistent with repeated trauma to the face and head one would expect with gladiators(!) in the Roman "Londinium" theatre, and /or victims of bounty hunters from further afield! They're being studied by teams from the Museum of London, among others.
Saw the works at both ends when in London for my daughter's PhD. conferring in December. Most impressive. Makes U.S. passenger rail efforts look like pretty paltry.
