The Golden Goose

The "F" line and the coming "E" line have been successful beyond the most optomistic projections.
So now, the powers that be are acting in typical SF fashion. They want to get even more so kill the goose and get the golden eggs now. Never mind the increased sales & hotel taxes have brought in---stick it to the tourists. They got away with that stuff on the cable cars with the justification that only tourists ride those faux antiques and that they are of little if any transportation value to the residents of the City. That is NOT the case with the cars on Market. A high percentage of the riders West of the Embarcadero are residents, not tourists.

Whatever mental disease Freakstein had (or still has) has been passed on to the current city government.
