Roaring Camp has not been approved by local RTC and we don't know the conditions of the requirements. Trail Now has said:

We support Roaring Camp agreement if the following conditions are included:

Roaring Camp will have no legal rights to prevent railbanking from Watsonville to Davenport and construction of Santa Cruz Coastal Trail

No public funds will be used to subsidize Roaring Camp freight operations in Watsonville

Roaring Camp will have financial responsibility for maintenance and repair of railroad tracks and support structures to operate freight in Watsonville, including the Pajaro River Train Trestle

Roaring Camp will not operate excursion trains beyond their current private operated tracks
RTC railbanks Santa Cruz Branchline from Watsonville (Lee Road) to Davenport in 2021
