UP has changed their track warrants. Not sure if this is the first day but it was done very recently. Line 2 is not "Not in effect until after the arrival of ________". I haven't seen the form but other lines have moved. I base this on scanner traffic on the Ayer Sub in Washington.
There are differences between UP and BNSF. BNSF track warrant numbers have a dash for some reason as in 897-34. UP just uses a number. BNSF has two special lines (12 & 13) for switches left in other than lined for the main while UP has always and still does just use Line 17 for that.
Train crews that use joint trackage must have a pile of forms they have to carry around.
