Yep, unless the patient or family designee gives permission, the info is protected. I met John once and he gave me his business card--------it was either at the last gasp meeting of the Southern Pacific stockholders in SF in August '96 or it was up there at the museum, but my recollection is that it was at the "end of the line" meeting so to speak. Glad to know nothing sinister has happened and he may be on the way to recovery.
