Do crews dislike BNSF 8000s?

I spent a couple days on the BNSF transcon in California. I saw several of the new 8000s, but very few leading. This seemed odd, because new units seem to almost always be leading. Do the crews dislike them for some reason? Is there some other reason why they are avoiding the lead?
