There's been fairly regular track work between Voltage and Rock Island since the eastbound Spud Local tried to take out the crossing at Rock Island Dam (Voltage) a couple weeks ago. Having said that, it appears that traffic tends to be heavier in the evenings and early mornings. And I've been told that the line is fairly busy overnight. Can't tell you that though. I sleep through the rail traffic......
