Yes, the RDC will be operating under their own power. Only two RDC units will be used, one of the three is planed to be used for parts. Last I heard the flatcar will be between the two units.
I think the RDCs will be deadheading north out of Emmett in the next few days if they haven't already. Someone with extra time should go get some pictures for everyone on here. Anymore it is rare to see a train between Banks and Smiths Ferry other than the recent work trains.
From what I have been hearing this service is planed to mostly be for the river rafters with trips leaving from Smiths Ferry and only one round trip per operating day out of Cascade.
