That's BNSF's Oregon Trunk, part of the Inside Gateway. BNSF runs about 8 trains a day via that route. Train control is Track Warrants with ABS signals, so a scanner can be helpful. Make sure to travel north a few miles to the Crooked River Gorge and the Railroad arch bridge there. It's a great place to catch a train.
