I was a train photographer at the time and was standing next to my dad waiting for the Chessie Steam Special that day, but my picture of the same freight as this has not a single person in it. I'm not sure how I did that, because I remember it was pretty crowded. I must have run into the tree line upon hearing the horn and worked my way through the woods, while my dad just held his ground.

Anyway, this is a long way of saying, I liked his results a lot better than mine.

Tom - we drove to Darby right after this and beat the steam special there. My dad even took a shot of the PCC crossing the B&O tracks... but it was directly into the sun and didn't turn out well.
