Prince Rupert intermodal etc. to end?

I think this was in Trainnews a week or so ago, but there was no discussion. I think it's worth looking at again:

One implication is that Prince Rupert BC may not be in business much longer as an ocean connection for CN, unless they all can make a deal very quickly. Also, of course, the tourist train ( [www.viarail.ca] ) on that route, which I understand has been getting cut back gradually anyway. Could get interesting on the intermodal side, since Prince Rupert has been quietly pushed for several years as a shorter (at least in time, because the ships would stop there first before heading to other West Coast ports) way to the midwest for containers.
