Thanks for the link to the snow photos.

I don't want too sound too whiney - but what is pictured is not "an avalanche"???

Come on folks - in Montana that's just a normal day in the mountains!

I've been in Donner Pass, Marias Pass [Rogers Pass {{BC}} anyone?] in the winter - what about Colorado?

Has Washington gone.....????

I grew up in Washington and I'm sure the snow is worse in some areas and I've been in Stevens Pass when avalanches were coming down all around. -[circa 1960's] - have we as a culture become so disconnected with the fact most areas of the United States [Canada] have winter?? - so that any time it snows it's an "event'!

In winter snow happens!!!
