Eric....you're spot on in your observation. Those who get hurt and sue the railroads are the ones who can gain from a successful lawsuit. Any ahole can sue us and we have to use maintenance funds to defend the lawsuit.

Whether we win or lose...there are ties that don't get put in or bridge stringers that wait awhile longer to get replaced!
