Not sure why the ride should get bumpier from Truckee to Reno/Sparks if the track is not rough and last time I was over the track in a passenger train it was not bad, if the engineer is using the air instead of the dynamics and pulled the train down just west of Reno the ride should be fine. We never even woke the animals or spilled the coffee in the pie car last night when we put the train together here at the port. It's all in having a good engineer who knows not to touch the independent brake. the circus train is exempt from the fuel conservation rules and you can use power braking to keep the ride smooth. All those long flats on the rear can create some slack action
