Not only did the A & P surveyors have a sense of humor regarding station names, they also made them as easy as A B C to remember. From West to East, there was at one time stations named:
Amboy, Bolo, Cadiz, Danby, Essex, Fenner, Goffs, Homer, Ibis, Java, & Kleinfelter.
