There was a big discussion about this on another forum. The local police were there and were trying to stop people from going between the cars.

Turns out it was a dispatcher mistake. The event group had contacted the railroad ahead of time and the railroad had agreed to stop all trains through that area. I have not heard of any response from the dispatcher as to why he sent the train through.

But of course that does not give the right to the individuals to take things into their own hands and go in front of and over the train.
