Oregon State used to use hog fuel to feed its boiler plant (still there but converted to natural gas 44.56276, -123.27555.) When I was a little kid I used to marvel at the spectacle of a front loader on top of what seemed like a vertical pile of woodchips feeding a conveyor belt.
