The place in Tacoma was Marilyn's, right across the street from the current Amtrak depot and only a short walk up Puyallup Ave. from the ex - NP Tacoma Yard offices. Don't know why it closed, as there always seemed to be customers there. At 2 PM you would see rails and truckers ( like me ), at 2 AM it was still rails and the Nite - Lifers trying to sober up enough to drive home. Oh yea, the cops ate there too.
