Actually it would have to be UP from Palmdale Jct to Mojave since there is no connection at Lancaster from Metrolink to UP
There is also the issue of the second main track from Kelso to Cima UP wanted to allow Amtrak back to Vegas with the Talgo equipment
I'm guessing UP would want at least one siding between Palmdale Jct to Mojave and two sidings from Yermo to Arden
And BNSF would want one or two sidings between Mojave and Barstow besides the power switch at the bottom end of Mojave
