That poor guy! My heart goes out to him. Sounds
to me as though the RR near his home has recently
gotten much busier, and now runs much longer trains,
and also does switching -- and makes a lot of noise
at night. The poor fella should probably move, but
probably doesn't have the money. As far as thinking
he needs meds -- you cannot tell thatfrom a mere e-mail.
To me, he just seems like a very poorly-educated person
who has a lot of problems, and who cannot express himself
very well.in writing. Maybe a local charity could be of
some help to him.

There is really nothing you could do for him, but I guess
he was so desperate he was probably writing to everyone
he could think of. I wonder how he found AP and why he
thought you could help him? You are right, though -- RRs
probably get letters like this all the time.
