I visited relatives in Healdsburg last week and then drove up 101 to Oregon, stopping for lunch in Willits. The Skunk (Calif. Western) still seems to be operating, but I wondered after seeing numerous crossing signals in place along the old NWP tracks (they were turned sideways, though; many had crossing gates) whether there are plans to re-open the line up to one or another point north, such as Willits.

Anyone know how far north the new operation will go?

Answers appreciated in advance.
