You will never ever convince someone like him that rail transit will work. Frankly I do wonder why they are not building a bike path next to the tracks like Smart is doing. All they need is a four foot fence between they. If the county owns the line, then they have the power to do it. This a problem that can be solved. Do not let the bikes go over the trestles, route the path down then back up or you ride up to the nearest bridge.
