Santa Cruz is plenty grown up- its just one or two vocal fools who oppose anything relating to the line. A big survey was just conducted and the population in general overwhelmingly support using the corridor for rail transportation. The worst part about this ass is that the county ALREADY INTENDS on building a full length bike trail parallel to the tracks. This is ALREADY part of the master plan. He just wants the tracks torn up and the materials sold to help finance construction of his bike path, instead of being mixed use for the benefit of the future.
