Pacific Harbor Line and UP Dolores

Had to get out of the house after pruning the orange tree, mowing the front lawn and sweeping up various debris. I hadn't seen the new Pacific Harbor Line yard in person, so, after washing off the boat in downtown Long Beach, moseyed over several bridges and got there.

The first two photos are a UP train led by UP4767 pulling from Terminal Island.

The peoples car was low on fuel which made a trip up Alameda Avenue feasable. This clean looking machine, UP 8867 appears to be an SD70AH. Never heard of these. UP has locomotive storage tracks at the upper reaches of Dolores Yard south of the underpass of the Alameda Avenue and the corridor.
