The Mouse also did not allow facial hair, on men or women, except for eye brows. Kinda strange considering Walt Disney himself wore a moustache !!! Also, no excessive make-up or jewelry for women, along with only small stud earrings and only one ring. As Paul noted, it was all part of the " ROLE " you were " CAST " for in the big play that was Disneyland. Even the security guards in receiving wore the Main Street cop costumes, complete with spats !!! The Mouse's logic withstood many court challenges over the years.
