Well, not quite.
The majority of RPRC's trackage consists of industrial tracks and leads that were owned by Southern Pacific west of that company's mainline in the Richmond area. The longest is what is known as the "Water Side Drill" which paralleled SP's (now UP's) main track from Stege to the San Pablo wye, where it turned west towards SP's Richmond Transfer yard. RPRC interchanges cars at the Richmond Transfer yard with the switching contractor that serves the old Richmond Belt Line and Chervon's Richmond refinery. RPRC also operates the ex-SP trackage extending from their yard in Richmond, passing through the ex-SP Seaver Avenue and 23rd Street yards, to a connection with the "Water Side Drill" at Stege.
