Santa Cruz’s Westside: A Vegetable Packing Hub

Very interesting rail related history of the property where Kelly’s Bakery is now located. Does anyone know of any other photographs of the rail operation at this location? The person who built the display told me:

SP would station a switcher which would spot & move refers around the clock during harvest time. The plant would run 24 hrs a day at those peak periods. Top icing and sending out first class shipments to the east.

Here is a link to the history.
