OT - Question on Satellite ISP

There have been some recent postings on this board regarding poor cell and Internet service across the country.

Does anyone on this board use Exede Satellite for their ISP? My local rural telephone company is a small operator and has placed a 1 MB cap on the DSL system. Thus the local DSL isn't much better than dial-up and I am about ready to go to satellite, if it is worthwhile.

I had Wildblue at another place where I once lived and it turned out to be a disaster. Exede is the successor to Wildblue and I was wondering how that company's service is, and if anyone here has had good or bad results with them.
