Some updates from this morning:

The SNCF has decided to "lodge a legal complaint" (in French "porter plainte") against the racers who crossed when the gates were already down.

In such situations, the race is neutralized until the peloton is complete again, which means that this action by some racers was pretty stupid, and did not get them any advantage.
