I'm going to say this for the last time: the widening of the Pamana Canal won't have must effect on the west coast ports, especially LA and Long Beach. People forget the value of what's in those containers. Time is money on high value merchandise.

Besides, do you really think UP and BNSF would be adding second main tracks in Arizona and New Mexico if they thought there was going to be a big traffic diversions of container traffic? Answer: No.
