Santa Cruz Roundabout Crossing Signals And Gates Still Out Of Service

My wife and I were in Santa Cruz yesterday morning to pick up paint at Sherwin Williams and we stopped at the roundabout afterwards. I was walking the roundabout taking photographs when the SCBT&P Beach Train arrived and the locomotive shoved the train through the roundabout crossing. I was very surprised the crossing signals and gates were still out of service.
