To call Brian Peoples an "advocate" is disgraceful. What he adds to the dialogue is an outspoken voice issuing from a societally-privileged, oppressive individual who doesn't care about anyone but himself and his own agenda tailored to uphold his privileged status quo. For him to consider himself an "engineer" is equally disgraceful as he is operating in unethical territory (can you cay Conflict of Interest?) and also has conducted several unlawful actions.
Altamont Press is an unfitting place for it, as it is far from a safe haven nor an easily shareable medium. Hopefully some Blogspot or Tumblr-based railfan will pick it up and give it more visibility. Anyway, without further qualification, this is to be the most comprehensive Brian Peoples call-out post to date.

Why Brian Peoples is Problematic:
* Instances of him tresspassing on several bridges of the SCCRTC / SC&MB right-of-way.
* Conflict of interest--engineer designing self-driving cars and is advocating such a system to substitute the railroad.
* Consistent elitist, condescending, stereotyping rhetoric and libel, including--
* Consistent classist beliefs, including making derogatory remarks and stereotyping the impoverished of the county.
* Veiled racism founded on said classism, directed again towards Watsonville.
* Libel of rail advocates and allegations of a conflict of interest on their behalf.
* Practices consistent with cyber-bullying, including following and defaming individuals he has argued with previously.
* Wants to preclude future mobility, accessibility, and social advancement in Santa Cruz county that would result from building an effective transportation system with a multiple-transportation-form backbone.
